Kanger Ghati was announced a National Reserve park in 1982 by the Government of India.

Distribute over a place of roughly 200 km2 composed mainly of hilly scenery, this Reserve park originates its name from the Kanger Stream, which moves throughout its duration.

The bird wildlife at this park contains Mountain Myna, Identified Owlet, Red Forest Fowls, Racket-tailed Drongos, Peacocks, Birds, and Steppe Silver eagles, Red Encourage Drop, Phakta, Bhura Teeter, Shrub Pie and Heron among many others.
