Bannerghatta National Park
This National Park is one of the major attractions of Bannerghatta. Nature lovers should definitely come here. The National Park covers an area of 104 square kilometers and home for the many species of animals, birds and plants.
The garden was founded in 1971 and since then it is a home for the tiger, Bear, lion and crocodiles.
Flora and Fauna of Bannerghatta National Park: –
Animals such as gaur, wild pigeons, elephants, sloth bears, jackals, sambar, tiger, Kakad, rabbit and fox can be found in the garden.
The park is characterized by different species of vegetation under which sandalwood, plum, tamarind come.

Major Attraction of the park: –
- Bannerghatta National Park is a major attraction Reptile Park.
- Tourists can also visit the First Butterfly park of India where more than 20 species of butterflies are preserved.
The Butterfly park was setup by Zoo Authority of Karnataka, University of Agricultural Sciences and the Asoka Trust for Research in Ecology and Environment in 2006.

Zoo Timing – 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Safari Timing- 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Butterfly Park -9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
