Satpura National Park, especially known for tiger conservation is a home for variety of animals and plants.  Initially, it was founded with the aim to save the tiger.

Besides being quite rocky ground of the park with several canyons and waterfalls.  While walking in the park with sandstone peaks, dense forests and vast lake should not marvel at.

Where is satpura national park?

Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh (India), It  is located in center of country and the coast of Narmada river. This place is an important role in the history of the state and country. Narmada river was earlier named Narmadapuram but later Narmadapuram Hoshnag ruler Shah had HOSHANGABAD its name.

Satpura Tiger Reserve: –
Satpura National Park is one of India’s finest Tiger reserves, In 2010 this tifer conservation area awarded for “most visitor friendly” habitat for wildlife lovers.  According to latest reports  20 Bengal tigers arerelocated from this tiger reserve to Kanha national park. The tiger reserve area is established in 1981.

Wildlife of Satpura National park: –
Satpura is known for the variety of wild species and plants. One can easily find Tiger, Bear, Spotted Deer, Porcupine, antelopes and Crocodile etc.
Apart from animals this place hosts more than 300 species of birds including Hornbills, King quail, snow cocks, francolins and peafowl .
Satpura National Park has a superb collection of plants in which more than 1,300 species of plants and medicinal plants found several visits.

It is the only tiger reserve in the central India where is the freedom of walking. Under the guidance of wildlife expert, a group of  four people  will allow to walk in tiger reserve area.
