Madhav national park is located in the Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. The name of the park is taken from the maharaja Of Gwalior, Madhav Rao sindhiya, once it was a hunting ground of mughal emperors.
This park is spread over 354 square km and open in all year. This park is established in 1959 and green grass alongside of the lake make a beautiful view.
Wildlife of Madhav national park: – The park has rich flora and fauna, the main animal species of this park are chinkara, chital, nilgai, sloth bear and tiger. This is an amazing hangout place for bird watchers, madhav hosts many migratory bird including pintail, indian pond heron, kingfisher, Mallard, white ibis and Asian paradise flycatcher. Birds can be seen in Chandpatha Lakeand Sakhya Sagar lake which is also considered as a crocodiles habitat.
