Haflong is a Tourist place in Assam which is stretched over 13 sq. km. This place is home for many wildlife species and migratory birds. In the center of Haflong there is a lake which is known as Haflong lake where the birdwatcher can spot the bird species.

Haflong lake is considered a s a biggest natural water bodies of Assam. In the edge of Haflong, there is a village named Jatinaga also a valley, which is considered as a haunted places in India. the reason behind this is the unusual behavior of birds in this valley.
